Victoria Transmisson & Auto Care is pleased to announce that it will be holding a month-long campaign to raise money for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, in support of National Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Community members are encouarged to sign a 6.5 ft by 6.5 ft poplin poster, on display in the waiting room area, where signatures will eventually form the shape of the classic pink ribbon; and to make donations. A webcam will capture live footage of the poster, displaying progress on the Victoria Transmission & Auto Care website, as the pink ribbon takes shape.
Co-owner Adam Sullivan says, “As a female-friendly and community-focused shop, we are excited to offer customers and members of the local community the opportunity to support a great cause. We hope this will encourage other businesses in the region to get involved.”
To make a donation and sign the pink ribbon, anyone is welcome to stop by the shop, located at 1885 Government Street. More information on this campaign can be found at: www.VicTrans.com
