Victoria, BC – Local automotive repair shop Victoria Transmission & Auto Care has announced their latest initiative to support local women and drive their vision to educate the community about proper vehicle safety and repair.
“Pink My Ride”, aneducation-based contest for local women, will select 12 female finalists for the opportunity to attend an exclusive version of the shop’s popular Ladies’ Night Events on Sept. 15th, to learn important vehicle safety and maintenance activities such as how to check fluids, jump a battery, change a tire, and more – all on their own cars. At the event, two prize winners will be drawn from the finalists to win a grand prize of $3,000 in any vehicle services or products from any local retailer, or a secondary prize of $1,000 in new tires.
As a part of the program, Victoria Transmission & Auto Care will also be donating an additional $1,000 in cash to the Cridge Transition House for Women. “We are always looking for new ways to give back to this community, which has given so much to us over the years. Support for women and education in particular are areas that have always been close to our hearts”, shared Victoria Transmission and Auto Care’s Managing Partner, Adam Sullivan.
